Post now open for having a cuppa and chatting with your fellow writers about anything even vaguely fandom related.

If you'd like to share you card, talk about how it's going, here's your chance.

It absolutely doesn't have to be serious business.

Feel free to look for writers/possible circle friends who share your fandoms, etc.

Mention any writing challenge/exchange you might know of/be writing for/looking forward to taking part in.

Anybody else thinking of doing funny drabbles or some such for some of the trickier prompt words?

I'm currently at 11. Whelp.

I had been saving certain fandoms to be at the end because I know I can write basically anything for them, but I might need to revise this thought.

I'm trying to do a personal fictober - write something every day, but not following any particular prompt lists for it, so I'm trying to get some of these done that way too though so far only 4/10 days have been for this challenge. Still, up to a total of 17 now. Creeping up on a fifth of the way there.

Currently participating in Trick or Treat exchange and Yuletide signups are around the end of the month!

I'm doing some Whumptober and I am disappointed in myself for not being able to make all of them match 100fandom prompts too though I have managed one :) I am in fact pleased with myself for pushing out of my comfort zone and writing - and posting, importantly - fic I wanted to read but it didn't exist so I wrote it. And by positing it in some way saying I'm not ashamed of writing the thing.
(I write a ton of hurt/comfort but there are certain things that hit my own kinks so much I get embarrassed and I'm trying to get past that.)

I'm doing spook_me and it's turned out that I can actually use that fic for the "ghost" prompt here, so that's another one planned out! Current to-do list is key (Buffy), universe (Smallville), promise (Harper's Island), home (The Fandom book series), time (Manifest), belong (The A List), fantasy (Big Bang Theory), scratch (iZombie), alive (Roswell New Mexico).

I was making progress but real life stepped in and took up a lot of my mental and emotional focus.

That said, I have a ficlet ready to post after some checking & formatting and I already know what my next ficlet will be for the challenge :D Thrilled to be getting back into it this month, as I am writing for two of my favourite series / film respectively: I Dream of Jeannie and A Matter of Life and Death.

Other challenges? Need to get on top of my two entries for [personal profile] spook_me - very excited about those as I am doing AUs of two current AUs of mine. Self-indulgent? Yes. Fun? Indeed.
