spook_me should be opening mid-September. No penalty fic fest. You choose your own fandom and monster, then the mod will send out creepy/spooky art and you create something that can use those as inspiration... but you don't have to. No minimums, no maximums, and no stress. I cannot stress how much fun this one is for me each year. Your fic can be scary, creepy, or none of the above if that's how it moves you, though the focus is on a Halloween-esque story.

Managed to get my sixth prompt done this week, and I already know what I will be doing for universe (Smallville), home (The Fandom book series), promise (Harper's Island), game (Light as a Feather), time (Manifest), alive (Roswell New Mexico), scratch (iZombie), inside (The Haunting of Hill House). Potentially either ground or space will be The 100 and key Buffy.

oh gosh, I'm so behind on my goals for this challenge.

Anyway Femslash exchange nominations are open and there should be a jrpg exchange soon (which I hope to do since all I write for nowadays is for jrpgs) and basically there's a lot of exchanges happening now.

I have managed to complete another 100fandoms fill! I hope to post the link to that and my other 100fandom fill this weekend, as I have been neglectful posting my fills here :D


While I am starting a course in September I plan to focus on 100fandoms and aim for shorts alternating with longer fic so I can keep a steadish stream going.

I haven't written a lot this summer, a combination of holidays and doing art for the WIP BB, which took much longer to create than I anticipated.

So uh my next fill should be out next month as I'll use it to write my Harlequin Big Bang. That I haven't started writing yet because I'm struggling so much just with the story that I changed fandom and story. Back to square one, but possible next fill for this challenge, so it's not so bad.

Now if I could just try to focus and write 5k before September, 15th, that would be great.
